Over the years at Cuts & Clobber we have tried and tested many products on children’s hair and there are some that have become firm favourites with both stylists and parents.
All the products we use are vegan, kind to little ones’ skin and scalp and can be enjoyed by the whole family. Below are some of our best-selling products.
MINI U Styling Balm £4.95
We have loved this balm since it first launched and haven’t really found anything that compares in both styling and price.
This balm is a water based mouldable product that is best suited to younger children that like a spike or two and children that like to have the classic sweep over or a quiff. Due to the product being water based it’s so easy to wash out and doesn’t leave a residue on the hair and the best bit is the watermelon scent!
Original Sprout detangler
This is a holy grail product for us at Cuts & Clobber and we would be so lost without it, a couple of sprays of this and it is like brushing through butter.
The detangler is a premium product but we recommended due to the product being so thick to split it into 2 spray bottles and water it down 50/50 – we find this helps the product spray easier and perform as a detangler better, it also makes it last twice as long!
Original Sprout Curl Calmer
If your little one has curly hair you NEED this product. It will tame all frizz and fly aways and defines curls without weighing the hair down. After initial application, you can simply spray the hair will a little water to re-activate it if required. My little girl has the straightest hair, but I even use it on her hair to help with the crazy bed hair.
Original sprout Tahitian Hair Oil
I think we use this product for just about everything in the salon. It is perfect for plaiting, to tame frizz, and to use in freshly washed hair (both children and adult) to help with any tangles. You can even use it on your skin, we love to use it on any dry skin or eczema.
We can openly admit that we all have a little bit of damaged hair in the salon and this oil is the only thing that will allow me to brush my hair after washing it. We cannot recommend this product enough.
Mini U bath bombs and Fizzy Plops
Rainbow bath bombs and colour changing fizzy plops really make bath time fun for your little ones. In fact the whole Mini-U bath range is fantastic, there are even crayons for use in the bath that won’t stain the bath or your child’s skin. The whole range is gentle on skin and a great way to encourage any children that don’t like bath time.
